Really, in general, our countries are so massive and diverse that any attempt at interpretation and mimicry of the whole country at once is bound to emerge as laughable at best, horrid at worst.

Oh man, I remember that game too well... played WAY too much of it back in the day. I rather liked it. My only problem was that, unlike Mario Kart, it could only be played by 2 players, not 4. Could have been better, but I would never be ashamed of owning it.
