I would be very interested in hearing about those books, mostly, I went to a book store and stared blankly at all the mythology books and got lost. :S

Those all sound good, I was trying to get some helpful tips on books that don't overlap a lot with other books, also I'll take any suggestions on novels with mythological references.

Now that I grabbed your attention, I'm hoping some of you are nice enough to recommend me some books or large collections of mythology stories, I'm more interested in Greek, Norse, and Japanese mythology, but any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you.
