Im British too, everyone expects us to love The Beatles. Surely you mean the people on the Internet, the Internet is an amazing invention. Pretty much any information at your fingertips. I can't imagine writing ANY of my assignments for University without the internet.

What do you think is The most overrated Band/Song/Movie/Book/Game you've experienced personally. I have 2, One is The Beatles, i know they're good and i like a few of their songs but they're not the gods many of my friends claim they are. The second is The Godfather Part II, not really bad...
