If the internet had a final boss, who or what would it be?

What? I thought everybody knew Psy's dad is the final boss? (If anybody gets that... Well no one is going to get that reference...) Obscure references aside, I think the final boss would actual be the challenge of finding the exception to rule 34.

What song or band are you addicted to right now?

So I got the album Odelay by Beck about one year ago, only to find I actually didn't really like it. Now before you kill me, a couple weeks ago I thought I give it another go, and surprise surprise, I now cannot stop listening to it.

Evangelion Fans: I Need Your Help!!!

A theory some have adopted (and myself to an extent) is that the children are all based on Freudian psychology, with Asuka being the id (this is obvious with her association with lust), Rei being the super ego (Her relationship with Shinji's father, and her coldness to the Asuka, who is as...

    Films that make you cry

Haven't ever cried because of a movie, the closest was probably the end of Seven Samurai, to the point where I was depressed for a day and a half, but no tears (I would say the end ofDrunken Angel, but I kind of saw that coming).

    Movies: Pleasantly Surprised

Well, I have a couple: Wall-E (would put How to Train your Dragon here, but I think it's been well covered by previous posters), sure I knew it would be good (it is Pixar after all) but I didn't expect to like the first half's lack of dialogue as much as I did (the second half was fine, I...

Game endings that made you sad

Thank You! Anyways, pretty much all my answers have been said already, Shadow of the Colossus, Red Dead Redemption, etc. I am going to say, pretty much every ending for Persona 4 (I guess the super bad ending too) mainly because, no matter what, you leave Inaba and all the people you gained...

    Guess that obscure game quote!

Is it Rising Zan: Samurai Gunman? Okay here's one: "No one can escape time. It delivers us all to the same end. You can't plug your ears and cover your eyes."

Why is Catherine getting such great reviews.

For one this game isn't having just rave reviews, Gameinformer gave it a 7, Playstation magazine also gave it a similar score (Can't remember the exact score, so I might be wrong). But truthfully, I think it's getting good reviews because it's something new, original and is pretty well...

    Poll: Here, Have a Pikachu

Create the best power plant ever, so what if Team Rocket already tried harvesting Pikachu's for power, I'll just hire people with competence.

Most "holy shit" inducing game section ever?

Sure, the bosses lose their luster on THE TENTH RETRY! But they still creep me out the first time. Still my biggest holy shit induced moment is pretty much every encounter with Pyramid head in Silent Hill 2, the first one holding a special moment of fear and disgust in my heart.

I Just Finished an Entire Gaming Series, I Need Another!

Ditto to this, but expand it to the entire Shin Megami Tensei series, sure some of them are hit and miss, but if you do your research and pick the good ones, your time will be occupied.

Poll: Anime #2- Deathnote: who was in the right, Light or L? (potential spoilers)

Removing due process of the jury system? That will end well. In the end, Light became a dictator of his own sick world, he decided all morals and all values. Sure he had good ideas but, he was the equivalent of Stalin, killing anyone who apposes him. It's probably also worth noting I'm against...

OnLive Founder Claims "Impossible" Wireless Breakthrough

Rearden eh? Someone likes Atlas Shrugged. Yet, you could compare this to the Rearden metal in the book. It's considered impossible, and can completely change the market if used right. We'll see, established laws of physics don't tend to be disproven easily, but I'll be optimistic about this...

Why are all the "bad guys" "cooler" nowadays?

It's been stated before, my main argument is villains, many times are in the grey area of morality. The hero is almost always in the white segment of such a spectrum, and without a fantastic writing, he will come off as bland. They try to keep the status quo, he/she/they keep things from...
