Recommend me some web-comics?

Check out Cyanide & Happiness. Not really game or geek related, but the dark humor is great for a quick laugh.

I can't think of any gag-a-day that haven't either been mentioned or suck, so here's my favorite webcomic: http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots.html

Its called Order of the Stick. It updates infrequently and the first story arc kind of sucks, but it has over 800 strips, all of which are longer than average, and when its gets good, it gets really good. Its based off DnD, but its comprehensible enough that you should get all but a few jokes and references.

Again, don't be discouraged by the first arc; this is something I guarantee you will come to love.

Doesn't look like anyone's recommended El Goonish Shive yet. It's a pretty good story based comic, which means that if you decide to read it you'll pretty much have to start from the beginning to understand what's going on and several years worth of comics to read through. Still it's a damn good webcomic, definitely worth checking out.

Most of these are story driven comics with quite substantial archives. Most of them are worth it, with good writing and/or art.

I opened the thread specifically to recommend this one. Yeah, some of the stories are porn and some of the humour is juvenile, but there's a lot of genuine hilarity to be found in those pages.

Another one I'd recommend is Gone with the Blastwave [http://www.blastwave-comic.com/index.php?p=comic&nro=1] - a comedy strip about a pair of faceless soldiers wandering around an endless wartorn city in greyish brown.

'But I'm a Cat Person' is a good one if you like the idea of shapeshifters as participants in a Highlander-like game. It does go into the political stuff quite a bit for them, such as 'Do they qualify as people', so it may be a bit heavy handed.

Beyond that, Short Packed is pretty good, as well as MultiPlex.

ok seriously, I should not look at this again. I just read through the entire akward zombie cause I never saw it before, come back, then see like ten comics I've never read. I will be busy for the rest of the damn year. on the bright side, plenty of laughs. good comics like minioncomics.com, thepunchlineismachismo.com, and xkcd which has been mentioned, along with nerfnow. maybe rooster teeth? lots of comics there.
