Levelling new characters became a chore too as the vast majority of everything other than the endgame is empty. For someone who was there on day 1 it felt sparse and that I might as well be playing a single player game.
I think some of the earlier instances are much more entertaining but...
Never, never forget Jeeves and Wooster. Written by one of the best wordsmiths ever, brilliant tv show and there are some other great adaptations - check out the radio plays with Richard Briers, they must be 40 years old now but are still as good as ever.
Anyway OT: Yeah he's great! I...
I agree completely with yahtzee that games should stand on their single player, as it's a true test of a developers ability to design the environment and AI. To rely on the multi-player side of things is to rely on players finding the right balance between themselves and disown any need for the...
And that was the only reason I was thinking of getting a membership!! Ah well I'll probably bite and take the plunge as I think the LRR guys are worth supporting - and those damned Social Network adverts are getting on my nerves - just when I thought I couldn't hate Facebook anymore...

Without a doubt - Desert Bus.
Don't foget to check out desert bus for hope (http://desertbus.org/) when the ENN/LRR guys and gals play it for charity for days on end.
Like most internet fads, started off as a bit fun and offbeat but got done to death. My usual response was to just sigh and hit the baxck button, but LOL'd once or twice when a mate has set me up.
On arcade - Rally X, I was 3 or 4 and could barely reach the controls.
On a home computer/console I think it was River Raid either on C64 or Atari 2600.
2 rather dull games to have truned me onto gaming!
Bit bored of it as it trails every video. Kind of like when you get ads at the beginning, just gets in the way of the vid that you want to watch. Understand the need for them but still wish they weren't there.
Für Elise by Beethoven - granted it's a composition not a song.
Was also going to mention the triumphant by Royskopp but this is a composition too. Maybe I can't get into sad songs?!
