Nah, this is theoretically a spoof of the first Halo-thingy game. I remember being able to snipe with its shotgun. At that range, he'd be able to do brain surgery, without having to kill the patient. Pretty sure 2 was the game what replaced the shotgun with that aircannon-toy-thing kids use to throw smoke.

ALSO: Apparently Gunny's heart grew three sizes that day, because if I'm reading that right, he offered himself up in exchange for Erin and Rad. He may not have a brain, but maybe he does have a heart.
