we have one day left until the supreme court decides to ban the sale of video games to minors who are under 18 years old or not. Any predictions on the result fellow escapist?

Come on, the supreme court are surely intelligent people who know their law - it's obvious that video games have the right for protection just like any other media.

You're a bit misinformed. Yes, November 2nd is the day that the Supreme Court will hear the case, but they won't rule for quite some time. The most controversial cases take months to rule on. It's unclear how long it will take the Court to rule, but this isn't on-par with ending segregation, so don't expect it to take the entire time limit.

Well I for one couldn't see them taking the case, but here we are. To be honest though I dont veiw the opposing case as all that strong, or atleast not strong enough to make a big enough impression to initiate a ban of any kind.
