I actually like Raiden.Whistler777 said:[Hideo Kojima fanboy warning! You are dealing with an MGS fanboy!]notsosavagemessiah said:Hmm.... I'd say MGS 4's. Why? Because after handling more or less all of the essential loose ends (and a few non essentials) they decide to remind you that there's still more to come. What? Without Snake? Fuck you.
I think it's just fine that the series can continue without its flagship character. In my eyes, it's only a testament to how versatile Hideo's writing is. Even though Raiden's a hated character, I think the upcoming prequel will finally tie up all the loose ends (no, not all of them have been addressed yet) in his plotline.

OT: The ending to Call of Duty 4 made me laugh. Not because of the touching death of some of the lead characters, nor because of the traumatic struggle depicted, but because Griggs raps over the end credits. Seriously? "Deep and Hard"?
yh i remember that i just remember sitting there and saying "What the fuck"Sgt. Dante said:Has anyone played psi-ops?
It's a typical amnesia revenge story, only you're a psychic commando. The whole way through you're pretty much kept in the dark and once you beat the final boss your character states "i remember everything". que credits. NO planned sequal.
Utter BS.
Fable 2's wasn't that bad. Just not good for an "epic" style game.Sipo said:fable 2...nuff said

I don't think that Lynch dies, does he? I thought his hand just got shot, and if his chest did get shot, didn't he have a vest on?Del-Toro said:The Kane and Lynch ending:
You either take the helicopter out, abandon the teamates who hate you anyway, causing your ***** of a daughter to continue hating you, or you save them, the only one to survive till you get there abandons you, your daughter bleeds to death, and Lynch dies, but not before telling you that you should have done the other thing, fucker.
Actually, this pretty much sums up how I feel. First time I beat Resident Evil 5, I was so happy that I didn't care how lame Wesker's death was. It felt really damn good.popdafoo said:Are you serious?
Mine would have to be... absolutely none. I feel so good after beating a game that I don't care how silly the ending is.
Much worse than that cliffhanger was the stupid final boss fight that just reiked of "we have no idea how to make this guy hard so let's just give him a few typical video game boss abilities". It was especially annoying because of how enjoyable to game was up until that point tooCatchy Slogan said:Well, Assassin's Creeds ending was a little, erm, blatant, I guess. I know they said it was going to be a trilogy, but it would've been more subtle if they hit you in the face with a big rubber stamp that said "To Be Continued" ... Although I did like that they put puzzles in...
