read the survival guide - its not very practical unless a last resort>>> the noise of the mighty chainsaw would attract more Zs and the temptation to rocka nd roll on full auto would lead to a very fast expenditure of ammo.

I'd go for a standard issue rifle of some description - probably an SA80 - it comes scoped, single shot, bayonet fitting. during the collapse of society ammo for a standard issue rifle would be in abundance. it's also fairly light, good sling, and the clips also fit the LSW - as a last resort of course.

true, but a mis firing round means the time you spend reloading(you wont always have yourself a speedloader near by) will be wasted.
Personally for me i would have to have an AS-90 as my choice.
