So I am currently working on a RPG/RTS style game. We have some of the usual races and such like orcs,humans,elves,dwarves but thats about it afterward we have 17 more races that are completely unique. But when it comes to the lead companions and story I am curious to what typically grabs you to play an rpg? Typically for me i have played games from the original final fantasies to Dragon age, even some paper dungons and dragons. But now that i am creating an rpg i have been wondering what the fans enjoy in a game? So let me know what makes you want to buy rpg's and what sort of stories and companion personalities do you like?
