EDIT: I just decided to get them. I'm sure that I'll end up liking a few of them, and even if by some strange stroke of luck they ALL suck, then it's only $43 no big loss, but again, I highly doubt that is the case. Gotta take some risks, Fortune favors the bold!

EDIT 2: My ISP is going to kill me, god this is a big download.

My Steam cart:

Splinter Cell
Splinter Cell: Double Agent
Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
Splinter Cell: Conviction
Ghost Recon
Ghost Recon: Desert Siege
Ghost Recon: Island Thunder
Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter
Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2
Rainbow Six Lockdown
Rainbow Six 3 Gold
Rainbow Six Vegas
Rainbow Six Vegas 2

$43

Should I get them? I haven't played any of them. But it's seriously like $129 worth of video games for $43. I'm not sure it's rational to NOT get them.

Eh, Rainbow Six is alright.

Splinter Cell is good if you like incredibly linear stealth games. Don't know about the sequel though.

Personally I'd boot out everything but Splinter Cell series, I wasn't crazy about HAWX or Rainbow Six, and I haven't heard much good word on Ghost Recon.

They vary in quality, but I'll say that Chaos Theory was so good as a stealth game it could stand among the Thief series with its head held high.

I looked up Hawx and Endwar and decided I would not play those, so it's really just the 13 shooters that I'm interested in. Changed the top post to reflect it.

I'm not a fan of the Rainbow Six or Ghost Recon games, but the Splinter Cell series is good.

I'd say it's worth it.

yes. its worth it for just the rainbow six 2 , splinter cell conviction and advanced warfighter 2 , thus with the 10 otehr games, its a real bargain ... assuming you will play any/all of those games

Of those, the really good ones are:

Rainbow Six 3 Gold (IIRC this is Raven Shield, the last proper Rainbow Six game. Rogue Spear, the game before this one, got me back into gaming after a long absence)

The original Ghost Recon and Expansions (Like Rainbow Six but in open areas and with a more fluid squad command system)

Chaos Theory (The Best in the Splinter Cell series, it improved on it predecessors, and every game after it was stripped of everything that made the series good)

Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 (A really horrible Rainbow Six game but one of the better cover based shooters for PC. Vegas 1 and Vegas 2 are two parts of the same story, 1 ends on a cliff-hanger. However the game mechanics in 2 are much better than 1).

Pick and choose, I'm sure you can spend less money.

EDIT: Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six 3 are Hard and Merciless, you get shot, you die, or at least you are hospitalised for a couple of months, there is a big roster so characters can be replaced but some people don't like that. Rainbow Six 3 has a mandatory stealth level that is a break from the action but I never found it too hard.

I can understand that you'd want some opinions from other gamers, but wouldn't a simple Google search or even YouTube search give you better examples of the games in question? Do a little research and you'll have an even better idea of what each game looks and plays like. From there you should be able to decide whether or not they're worth the $43. I own 'em all, played most of them, enjoyed them, yet I have a friend who enjoys similar game genres and isn't even remotely interested in them. Point is, doesn't matter much if friends like it, let alone strangers, 'cause you're the only one who can judge whether or not a game will actually be to your liking.

Simple answer: If you've got the money, you can buy them all, save a ton of money, and you're bound to like at least a few of them considering you're interested in buying them in the first place.

The only one I ordered was Rainbow Six 3. I haven't played it yet, but Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is one of my favorite shooters, easily my favorite to play co-op. But I already own it so just stuck with purchasing 3.

13 games for less then the price of one brand-new, mint-in-box, triple-A game. That's all the justification you need.

Honestly though, I've never played...any of them...except for one of the Rainbow 6 Vegas games which I feel I should play around with some more.

Nooo. No no no. Vegas 2 and possibly Vegas, yes. First Splinter Cell, maybe. GRAW 1&2, maybe. The rest I wouldn't bother with. The first Ghost and Rainbow games were very good, but very dated. Unless you're a retro-enthusiast, don't bother.

Yeah, I just bought them all, even if they're all just meh games, at the end of the day I'm paying like 3.50 a game for 13 games that are all one time 50-60 dollar buys.

Well, I did look at them on sites, but it takes a LONG time to pull up 13 reviews and watch like 13 5-10 minute videos. I mean, this is a gaming forum, I didn't think that it would be a terrible idea to ask for some quick opinions.

Steam has just been mounting a relentless assault on my wallet lately btw. Between Ubisoft Week, the Daily Deal, and Weekend Deals, I'm going to be broke by the end of summer...

Figure it might suck but it's only $8 and chances are I will never even get around to playing it. Already have like twenty Steam games I've yet to touch, including Assassins Creed 2 which definitely takes precedence! Also got NighSky for $5 with this purchase and I have a feeling I will play it more regardless. :)
