What is it with teenagers and apps? First my friends sister makes an anime drawing app that gets herself on local news and now this guy with his game.

The newest generation is picking this stuff up too quickly. They're going to rule all of us Generation Y-ers!

I doubt they'll reproduce fast enough to pose any real threat.

That reminds me of The Incredible Machine, which makes me want to play this game now! Not enough to go buy an expensive smart phone, but if I ever get one, I'm going to have to remember to pick this up.

This is why I'm glad Apple relaxed their requirements on using third party SDKs to program for iOS.

Great for him that he's getting an early start, but I was bored with that kind of game years ago. It's one of the reasons I've never been that impressed with gaming on the iPhone/iPad/iEtc. Everyone harps about how it's so awesome and revolutionary, but really it's just a collection of rehashed flash games from 5 years ago... except now I'm expected to pay for them.

So yeah, definitely impressive that he's 14 and already programming games, but let's not over-inflate his accomplishment like we did with Paolini [http://productsearch.barnesandnoble.com/search/results.aspx?WRD=paolini+christopher&page=index&prod=univ&choice=allproducts&query=paolini+christopher&flag=False&ugrp=1] just because he got-off to an early start. He may have done some nice coding, but his game is little more than Crayon Physics with preset objects.

Woot, I bought my first ever iPod (the brand new Touch, 4th generation, 8GB) the other day, so I'm going to grab this right now. Looks half decent, and considering the kid's only 14 and learned a whole new programming language to make this, he puts me and many others to shame. Which is kind of annoying in a way, as I want to be a games developer myself after I graduate this year. Ah well, fair play to the guy, and I wish him the best of luck in his future app and game making exploits :D.
If it wasn't a copy of like 18 other basic flash games I have played over the past 3 years I would be impressed.

What I really like about this game is that it doesn't require any particular permissions to run.
Many apps on the Android market say they require this, that, and the other permissions to run, this one only uses what it really needs.
An awful lot of Windows developers need to take a cue from this kid.

Not a perfect game by any stretch, but it's still a very impressive accomplishment =D

Congrats to the kid and too bad he's not properly making money off of this.

Has anyone noticed that the popular games on the Iphone have tons of counterparts on the Internet?

I've probably played +50 flash games with the same shtick as Angry Birds and Bubble Ball.
Familiarity sells, thats why zombies are so big now, either that or the apocolypse is nigh and all these zombie films, games and tv series are just socioty's way of saying "this is happening prepare or die"

Congrats to Mr Nay and good luck in all future endevours.

If we're Generation Y, and our parents were Generation X, does that make this kid and his peers Generation Z? What's after Z?

Either it's damn good or it's free if it's selling that well.
I know it's free but I've never actually played it to say if it's good. But if there's 2 million downloads on it, then most likely its good!
