Umm... well me and my only other friends over 18 went out "clubbing" and whatnot. It was a valuable night, taught me how much clubbing is overrated. Alcohol, crowds of sweaty people and excessive noise is all it boils down to.

It's my 18th birthday today and I was wondering what you all did on yours. (if you are 18 and up) So what did all of you who are 18 and older do on yours?

I spent my 18th birthday making art, then I watched "The Social Network" for the first time with family, (which turned out to be one of my favorite movies of all time!) After that, went out to TGI Friday's with said family and exchanged some witty banter before the waitress and her crew came over, gathered the attention of everyone present, and had them all merrily join together and sing one of the million terrible variations of "Happy Birthday" to me, before generously following up with a free dessert, (which was admittedly pretty delicious!)

Afterwards, came home and began unwrapping a most peculiar looking gift from my uncle, which, upon removing the last bits of the colorful paper, revealed to be a 17 inch Macbook Pro! Once immensely grateful thank you's were expressed, I requested the aid of my older brother to assist in setting the sleek bad boy up with internet access. From there, I contently spent the rest of the night on the thing whilst viewing "Fight Club" for my time.

Long story short, 2 great movies + awesome company + 1 extraordinary gift = one well-rounded and memorable day!

Happy Birthday, hope you have/had yourself a good one.

I was living in Japan for my 18th birthday. I had just graduated high school and most of my friends went back to the states for college or to visit family there.

So honestly, aside from going out to dinner with my family, I didn't do much. I think I went to Diamond City to just wander around (it's a big American style mall over there)

in Japan, adult age is 20, so me turning 18 there didn't really change much in my life.

Bonfire at my local beach. A couple of my friends got drunk, I got to hang out with a bunch of great people, and I told my first love that I loved her.

I played paintball with my best friends. Not very exciting.
My 20 year birthday was a little more crazy. I have never, EVER been so drunk. Me and two friends shared, um.... I think it was 3 1-litre bottles of 80% alcohol.

80%? Who's liver have you got and where is the body?

OT: I'm not 18 yet, will be in April though. Haven't got anything planned yet, but I've been thinking about lazer tag. Always a bunch'o fun.

On my 18th i think i did what i do for most of my parties- went to the cinema with friends, had a meal, maybe did some bowling, and then went back home to take the piss out of a cheezy horror movie, and drink a bit. I don't really remember it (i'm 21) but i'm fairly sure that's what i did back then.

Went laser-quest with some mates from school, had macdonalds, then went home and ate ice cream with sprinkles. I would do it all again given the choice.

I have no earthly idea.. that whole period between 16-about 22 is a hazy blur of indistinct images and intense hallucinations. However Im confident I had a nice meal because that is really the only thing I ever want for my birthday that doesnt involve sex.

Went to the Keg for dinner and ordered a Beer since I was now of legal age. (Drinking age is 18 in Alberta)

I had a house party that everyone said was pretty good but I'm pretty sure everyone actually thought it was really lame.

I bought two cheap games (Blazeblue: Calamity Trigger and Batman: Arkham Asylum) and saw Captain America in theater.

Went to the pub at about 11am with my brother and sister's boyfriend (now brother-in-law), then went to a mongolian barbecue restaurant with the family in the evening, where I was sat on a throne and given free shots of mongolian vodka all night, and a birthday cake with a giant sparkler stuck in it instead of a candle. Was an awesome day.

I went for a meal with some close friends and bought my first legal glass of wine. Low-key but it was great fun, I'd much rather have had a quiet meal with good friends than a massive party with a bunch of people I didn't really like at college, haha.
