1st ever digital game: 'conquest' or 'empire' (can't remember the actual name)
1st ever game that I actally remember: 'age of empires: gold edition'
1st first-person game: 'Riven'
1st FPS: 'halo: combat evolved' (I thought it was cool at the time, although i don't like it so much anymore. It is, however, the only halo game that I still actually like)

1st game that I ever 'fell in love with': 'Descent' & 'Descent 2' (and 'Descent: Levels Of The World')

"That will be all, material defender. Prepare for Descent."

Sonic 2 for Sega Genesis. First encountered at a friend's house many years ago, and within a week I was bothering my parents for a Genesis as well. Hooked on video games ever since. *_*

Metal Gear Solid, on the PlayStation. It is still my second favourite game of all time, and I still play it on my 60GB PS3. However, the first game I played and completed was Tenchu 2; (for some reason, I was so terrified of dying on MGS I didn't complete it until about 8 years ago.)

My memory's fuzzy but there was this "Winnie the Pooh" interactive learning game I used to play on the PC when I was a kid. Man, it was a fun game.
The first "real games" I played were strategy games including Combat Mission, Cossacks and Command and Conquer: Generals (my dad and uncle introduced me to all of them before I was even 10.) The first FPS I ever had was Battlefield 1942.

My first video game was Chip's Challenge. It came on the first computer my family got. I have fond memories of that game.
