Oh, I thought this was going to be about the recent WCS MLG controversy for Starcraft 2.
Lots of people getting their panties in a twist over it.

(Please note that the video is satire and mocking the people that are getting annoyed at players over being in the NA tourney not supporting such criticisms)
The tl;dr is that Blizzard didn't region lock their online tourneys and made money prizes the same in all regions so of course Koreans are going to play in the easier league, they'd be stupid not to because they have much reduced chances for the same pot otherwise.
This was compounded by MLG not being able to charge an entry fee because the community didn't like it (even though the pro players actually in the tournament did). This meant any would could sign up and anyone did. Hackers, timewasters and those drastically below the skill required to successfully compete in the tourney. Lots of pro players complained because they couldn't get into the tourney and so people are blaming the Korean players who roflstomped their way through for taking up space even though the problem was the aforementioned lack of player vetting. SC2 isn't a game where you can get lucky and beat a much more knowledgeable/practised opponent, it just doesn't happen. A skill gap determines a winner from the start.
