Sourced from Bethesda's offical Fallout Site http://fallout.bethsoft.com/eng/home/pr-051909.php
and From Bethesda's Twitter Blog (http://twitter.com/Bethblog) they linked http://au.xboxlive.ign.com/articles/983/983990p1.html

Point Lookout DLC (June)
"Their pitch was, "picture backwoods Maryland, where the bombs didn't actually fall, but the world has left it behind." It's also big. Really big. It's a mini wasteland swamp to explore. It has a main quest, side quests, etc."

Mothership Zeta DLC (July)
"If you poke around Fallout 3, you can find a crashed UFO with an alien inside that is broadcasting a signal your Pip-Boy picks up. This is where you can get the alien blaster. Well, Mothership Zeta is answering the distress call. You get abducted and the whole thing takes place on a giant alien spacecraft. It's one of those classic 50's B movie type things, but with a harder edge."

And Also for the PS3 Fanboys
"The Microsoft exclusive for Fallout 3's downloadable add-ons won't exist for much longer, as Bethesda has announced plans to bring all downloadable content for Fallout 3 to PlayStation 3."

And to answer why they never released DLC to PS3 till now:
"It's mostly the workload on us. Based on our Oblivion experience, it was clear that Xbox users were much more comfortable buying content, by a wide margin. It's a lot of work to get them ready for a particular platform and now that they've been so popular, we want to get them on the PS3."

DLC's to be released as CD Expansion packs.
"Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #1 includes The Pitt and Operation: Anchorage on a disc and will be available for Xbox 360 and PC on May 26.

The Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #2 includes Broken Steel and Point Lookout on a disc and will be available for Xbox 360 and PC in August.

Retail versions of the game add-on packs for PS3 are not possible and the DLC will only be available for download online via PlayStation Network.

A Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition will be available in October. It will include the original game plus all five add-ons for $59.99 for Xbox 360 and PS3, and $49.99 for PC."

This is awesome if it's true, but I doubt it is.

It is true, and I'm very happy that PS3 owners will finally have a chance to play the DLC, also the new ones sound awesome, more Fallout 3, joy!

You know they could have avoided SO much anger from ps3 owners if they stated somewhere before now "we currently arn't releasing it for the PS3 as the our workload hinders the abbility for us to accomodate the extra workload it would require to transfer it to PS3, it shall however be available at a later date" instead of "we'll give it out if enough people want it". That was just ASKING to be berated and hated

Read the article, Bethesda Dev's said so
I did not believe since it was a IGN link, a link to the official Fallout 3 site would've been a lot better.

Point lookout sounds interesting, not sure about the whole alien abduction thing though. I'm sure I'll buy it as I bought all the other DLC.

I hate DLC, I wish they would just put all this into a proper expansion pack.

Bethesda and Microsoft really annoy me by demanding all this extra money for DLC. I've already paid £40 for the 'full' version and yet they demand even more money to flesh out a game that in comparison to Oblivion (with or without its DLC expansions *sigh*)was pathetically short. I mean, putting a level cap of 20 that can only be lifted if you pay them more money is just not nice. It's like we've gone back a step to arcade games that demand you to pay more each time you die.

Hmm, me thinks that it will happen, but not as soon as the OP highlights. My guess is that it'll be closer to Fall before the PS3 gets the XBOX Exclusive DLC.

Im glad to see the doller symbols are fading before Bethesda's eyes and their starting to see they abandoned a large fanbase. (the PS3 owner) Im glad their doing this and ill definetly look forward to the expansions!

Go bethesda!

I still need to buy Fallout 3 (shocking I know). If they are going to release another edition with all the DLC then I'll definitely be picking that up.

Hell yes! More DLC and ps3 players stop complaining!
Talk about a bonus :)
I was going to grind my way to level 30, but now I might just wait untill these dlc packs are released

Bah what is the point? I have 3 level 30 character with all thier skills at 100. There is nowhere left for them to go. I got the feeling they didn't think too far ahead before putting it out. For me it will no longer be an RPG with shooter elements but a loot collecting shooter. And with over 200 hours already invested and the lack of mods there is no way I'll be starting from scratch again.

I am happy to hear the PS3 will finally get what everyone else has been enjoying.
