$20 PC Games?

Just got an extra bit of money from my birthday, anyone know any good games to get? (preferablely indie titles)

I always recommend Oblivion, which you can pick up for a song (and a small sum of money.) That doesn't meet your indie qualification... but I'm sure some of the thousands of mods might make up for it?

machinarium, i loved the game, the last puzzle made me spew blood and lava and so did the ending, but honestly the rest of the game is close to perfect art and sound vise, the story and gameplay is also good.

Counter-Strike: Source is a whole lot of fun. Team Fortress 2 is great as well.

Pick up Torchlight off of steam for 18$ Comes out on the 27th, looks to be a fun little Diablo 3 type of game.

Counter-Strike: Source is a whole lot of fun. Team Fortress 2 is great as well.

TF2 is great fun, and so is CS, however the one con I will say with CS is that it becomes difficult to find a server with good ping, and admins that care enough to stop people using aiming assists and other sorts of advantages.

Half-life for 6 bucks US on steam maybe? Also, I got Assassin's Creed for 20 bucks (AUD) from my local EB a few months ago; well worth it.

Hmm...this game looks pretty interesting. Like a Titan Quest/Diablo clone.


OT: You can pick up Evil Genius on Steam, I think it was only 10 dollars. Its a world domination simulator with a lot of Austin Powers inspired jokes and references.

Otherwise, you can do good with Killing Floor and STALKER on steam.

Two Worlds is 20 bucks, and it's the best "club animals to death, leave the area, come back, club the animals' ghosts to death" game ever made.

The problem with that is that it only might be a good game.
Something like World of Goo, on the other hand, has a lot of confirmation from outside sources that it is good.
