Modern Warfare 3 all the way. I can, and will, ignore the Halo CE remake unless it either adds lots of cool stuph or is 30 bucks or less.
It's 40 bucks....
Are you fucking kidding me!? Screw this, I'll just manually alter the screen size ratio of the PC version.

Saints Row 3, Skyrim, and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition (aside from all the DLC titles, which are too numerous to mention) are all on my list.

that's about... 200 dollars out of my wallet?

good thing i have a few months to save up

Well, Catherine is coming out, and that's made by "We Made An RPG Where You Kick God's Ass." ATLUS, so that won't help the pestilence at all. Neither will SR The Third, especially after those awesome trailers.
especially after this gameplay footage

EDIT: Forgot Mass Effect 3
I lol'ed at the beginning with the nut shots XD

I'm waiting mainly for Witcher 2 (xbox 360 version), Deus ex 3, and Batman Arkham City.

I'm not sure if I'm going to rent or buy them, I have to wait for demos and reviews and what the prices are when they first come out. I"m sure I would really like the story and aesthetics in witcher 2 but I'm not sure how I would feel about the combat for instance without having my hands on it. (to be honest since I have no life I may see if all three come to blockbuster and rent and beat all three maybe multiples times in a single month rental 20 dollar game pass thingy. Why I like consoles over pc is RENTING. =D)

Whoever came up with that deserves the nobel prize in hilarity.

God kills a kitten every time someone doesn't buy Deus Ex.

Star Wars: The Old Republic
Modern Warfare 3
Torchlight 2
Mass Effect 3
Diablo 3
SC2: Heart of the Swarm
RAGE

Yeah... going to be an expensive year.

By the way, according to devs the Halo: CE remake multiplayer uses the Reach engine and mechanics... which means it's basically worthless.

I have the first two. I have to see how the reviews are and stuff. I actually reallly liked Deus Ex Invisible War believe it or not, so I have to pay careful attention what people like and dislike about three after it comes out. I may be looking for different things even than other people who played the first two.

skyrim all the way, if it's as awesome as oblivion i wont need to buy another game for atleast another year. i plan afford it by tapping into my weed fund for that month if i need to, but i still have left over christmas money that i've been saving for exactly this reason.
Skyrim's a maybe at the moment. I never got into any of the previous series but this one looks a hell of a lot better. Do The Elder Scrolls games have a dense canon between them? Will it matter that much is I haven't got into to series so far?
Not playing the other games will have no effect on your experience of Skyrim, at the worst there will be an off hand reference to something that happened in other games. There is a story to follow, that is usually really good (Morrowinds was loads better then Oblivions so hopefully Skyrim will go back to Morrowind style) but you also have the opportunity to just fuck around for hundreds of hours on end

Skyrim's a pretty good investment. Elder Scrolls games always have a massive and reliable modding community that churns out game changing modifications every so often.

- Saint's Row: The Third

- Batman: Arkham City

- Duke Nukem Forever

- TES V: Skyrim

- Rage

I plan to buy all of these come Day 1, and I will reserve the Collector's Editions for each game when I do.

------------

However, while I want Deus Ex as well, I do not trust Ubisoft or Square to keep the core of the game that I've enjoyed twice already intact. Their previous excursions with their own respective franchises, Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell, and Final Fantasy, are the reason why I say this.

This said, I will pass on Deus Ex this time around.

o_O

Does it also support 3D?
I'd be seriously tempted to fast-track building my triple 3D projector room, if that's the case.

Skyrim is the only game I plan on buying for the rest of the year (I may wait until Christmas, but man, that's a long wait)

I should be able to afford it one major game.

I had a serious Nerdgasm when I saw that, very tempted to ditch my GTX 470 Sli for Radeon HD 6000 series Crossfire for it.

It's called budgeting people.

(admittedly for me it consists of missing out breakfast, lunch, heating, hot water...
