If it actually comes out on time, it will be 2012. 2013 wouldn't really surprise me.

OT: Well, Rage and Homefront. Was looking really forward to Bulletstorm, but then heard it uses GFWL, so I dunno anymore. I want it, but want to be able to play it at the same time.
Damn, I must have confused the dates with something else again. I did the same thing with Lord of the Rings Online going free.

Okay as we all know there are plenty of games in the coming 360 days that people want to play. Regardless of Wii/PS3/Xbox 360/PC discourse, many of these games look amazing. So which ones are you looking forward to?

I'm waiting for Deus Ex: Human Revolution, L.A. Noire, F.E.A.R. 3, Duke Nukem Forever, Homefront, Portal 2, and Skyward Sword.
Well this, and:

Dead Space 2
Two World 2
TDU 2
Bulletstorm
Rift
The Sims Medieval (yeah :( )
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
Dragon Age 2
Shogun 2: Total War
Crysis 2
Dawn of War 2: Retribution
Nuclear Dawn
Brink
Hunted
Witcher 2
Sword of the Stars 2
Warhammer 40k: Space Marine
Torchlight 2
Max Payne 3
Rage
Jumpgate: Evolution
Batman: Arkham City
Mass Effect 3
The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim

So yeah, 2011 will destroy my FIANCEES wallet hehe !

I'm taking a new approach to buying video games this year. Last year I bought just about every game that peaked my interest. This year, I'm taking a long, hard look at everything with a 2 or a 3 on the end and asking myself if I really need to buy it. Did the devs really do enough with the property to justify another $60 of my money? It's not the money that's important to me so much as believing that game makers need to start doing more than just mindlessly pumping out sequels to earn my support.

Battlefield 3 (at least the beta)
Shogun 2: Total War

If my past gaming history has taught me anything, those two franchises will keep me busy for a full 2 years. I might look into Skyward Sword and Homefront too. Anyway, I've got so many unplayed games as it is now I could probably take a full year off of buying new games.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Crysis 2
Metal Gear Rising
Warhammer 40k Dawn of War 2 - Retribution
Warhammer 40k: Space Marine
The Witcher 2
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (PC)
Mass Effect 3
Dragon Age 2 (Provided I have a save game with Awakenings actually beaten before it comes out...over 200 hours of Origins and I need to go through once more to get a great save for Awakenings...)

All in no real order of course.

Pokemon Black.
Mortal Kombat.
The 3DS.
Red Faction Armageddon.
Gears 3.
Bulletstorm.
Uncharted 3.
Last Guardian.
The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword.
Mass Effect 3. (even though I have only played the Citadel part in ME1, I am really excited for 3)
I also am probably going to get the collectors editions for at least one of them.

Gearbox picked it up after 3D Realms closed. It's slated for release some time in 2011.

I'd like to think that I'll exercise some restraint this year...I won't of course.

Mortal Kombat is exciting to me, I know it's a 2d beat-em-up but...looks like fun. I've also heard it supports 3D, so I get to see the dismemberment with a little extra visual-flair. Count me in.

The new Motorstorm is a definite purchase too, again...3D.

For pretty much everything else, I'm reserving judgement until I see some gameplay footage and perhaps a few review scores.(I don't care what people say, review scores are useful)

Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Portal 2
Really? Does FEAR really deserve any more of my money? (The answer is no)
Heart of the Swarm (nah, too optimistic. 2011 in Blizzard time is 2013, but I'm hoping 2012)
Batman: Arkham City
Miles Edgeworth: Ace Attourney Investigations 2
Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective
Diablo 3
Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

I've never had a year like this before. With the exception of FEAR 3 (which I'm practically determined not to get, but a friend of mine probably will anyways so I may as well borrow it) and possibly Skyward Sword, these are all games that I have an amazing time with. In fact, their predecessors are practically legendary in my mind, and they deserve to all be bought on release day.

But obviously, I can't buy 8 games on release day in a single year (college student wallets).

I have some tough decisions to make...

As for Duke Nukem, haha, are you kidding me? Not that I think it's going to be a shitty game, but they've given me no reason to suspect otherwise. The only factor that even makes them worthy of anticipation is their long-as-balls production time, which, as far as I know, isn't exactly a good thing.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution - (ONLY if Square's involvement didn't screw over the game's design.)

Duke Nukem Forever - No question here. Day 1.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim - Again, no question. Day 1 CE version and guide.

You Don't Know Jack - I really want this one.

Two Worlds II - I liked the first one, and given the production of No. 2, I'll likely buy it on Day 1.

Mortal Kombat - I've loved this series ever since the Genesis Era. CE please.

Bulletstorm - After Borderlands, I want more RPG-gunplay games in my library. My only grip is Epic taking part in making this game. I still enjoy Unreal and Unreal Tournament, aside from 3, but not Gears of War.

Starting the year off by buying Halo:Reach. If that isn't to my taste, maybe Bad Company 2. Yes I am behind >.>

New-Release titles I'll be getting are Arkham City, Colonial Marines and Space Marine. Maybe Portal 2 and Duke Nukem:Forever.
