2012: Bad year for Endings?

Having a look back on 2012 it seems to have been a really bad year for endings.

Games
Mass effect 3
Assasins Creed 3
Dishonored
Far Cry 3 (Both endings)

Tv Shows
Chuck
Merlin

Movies
The Dark Knight Rises
Prometheus

I know that is only a few, but they were the things I was looking forward to the most.

Side note: While this did not come out in 2012 I have to mention Battlestar Galactica as I only saw that in November. What the fuck was that?

Maybe, maybe, but 2012 also gave me Journey and The Walking Dead (the game, not the series).

The two most emotional endings I've ever experienced in any media to date.

I will agree with Dishonored. Maybe I should not have put it on the list as it was more disapointing and underwhelming than bad but I stand by the rest. But if you like them then good, at least someone did.

And the world didn't end either. Bit of a lame endings sort of a year. Then again I've found it a bit of a lame year generally. The only stand out media moment was the Dark Knight Rises. Everything else was a bit meh. Films ruined by crappy clichéd scripts and games that brought little new to the table.

Skyfall's ending was incredible for a life long Bond fan like me.
