2014 - The Most Disappointing Year for Games

I was hitting Warframe hard this year on PS4 if I hadn't gotten into it, my PS4 would've been collecting dust. So yeah, the years been pretty meh, nothing really captivating me. Well thats a lie, some did, but then I saw 'Xbox One' and I died a little inside (Sunset Overdrive and Ori and Blind Forest respectively).

Here's hoping that Sony pulls their finger out, as it seems to be a trend to be very mediocre out of the gate and recover strong in a year, ergo Wii-U (using the word "strong" pretty liberally, but still).

I didn't buy any games other than some PC games, most of which didn't come from 2014 and one of which had a mentally deficient game developer (Yes I did buy paranautical activity since a friend recommended it].

X box one just isn't worth it. Master chief can't hold up a entire console anymore, it's not 2007.
