Mech name: Proud Fury

Mech Design: Proud Fury is two meters smaller than the standard Promethean. It however is equipped with a one of a kind cloaking shield that can switch between a standard shield and a cloaking device upon control. Proud fury has a heavy armor set around the cockpit but has less armored arms and legs to compensate for weight and speed. Proud Fury uses a sniper rifle designed rail gun that fire rounds that contain microscopic amounts of anti matter. This weapon is devastating against armor but contacting a Promethean with a shield the Promethean isn't harmed but the shield's energy is decreased a significant amount in order to repel the force. Proud Fury also has two energy blades; one in the style of a knuckle trench and the other is more of a short sword style. Proud Fury also can move and maneuver incredibly well underwater; but has no flight capabilities.
Sorry, but could you take out the bit about anti matter? Since anti matter destroys, and is destroyed by, any matter it touches, containing it withing a bullet isn't viable.
Actually held up via a magnetic field in a sealed vacuum casing that would act as a bullet would work perfectly well. On top of that when the bullet would make contact that would disrupt the field therefore causing the anti matter to make contact and explode.

As what are these Prometheans using as a source of energy?
No, no it would not. Apart from the fact that anti matter isnt a metal, therefore not magnetic, plus, even if it were, you can't have a space without particles, and where there are particles, anti particles will destroy them, and themselves. NO ANTIMATTER.

Also, nuclear energy.
From antimatter particles you can create antimatter elements that would be magnetic and in a hundred and forty plus years I'm sure they will have the ability to have antimatter particles that would be able to remain together for an extended period of time. Also, there wouldn't be any normal particles in a complete vacuum anyways; so it wouldn't go off.

Its possible, so why are you being so anal? I implemented it in a way that was by no means over powered. If there is an other reason beyond the fact that you don't like it for some reason please tell me.

Ok, maybe it could work. I don't care. Why am I being anal? GM's prerogative. Why are you not getting in this RP? Because you like to argue with the GM. What I, or my co-GM's say goes. Deal with it.

Don't worry about letting me in as I wouldn't want to be in a RP run by someone who instantly denies something based on person opinion without facts backing it up, then continues to argue with someone who uses facts to back up their side. Also you wouldn't give someone the ability to argue why something should be incorporated due to a "I say so mentality" denies reason.

Name: Alejandra Dale

Appearance: Beautiful, dark skinned, glimmering raven coloured hair usually in a ponytail, small bust, fit, muscular, brown eyes. Wears a white, sleeveless shirt and army pants. A lot of people tell her she is too beautiful to be a soldier, she waves them off, puts her aviator sunglasses on and tells them the army is where she belongs.

Background/Bio: Alejandra was born to a Brazilian mother and a Canadian father who was stationed in Brazil while Argentina fought with Brazil. As the two countries fought, the two people fell in love and Alejandra was born 9 months later. Her father went back to Canada but promised that when the war between the two South American countries ended, he would return. He stuck to his promise and returned a few years later, he lived in Brazil with the two, raising Alejandra and teaching her about the army and his job. She joined the army to follow in her fathers footsteps and very quickly flew through the ranks, having a high ranking father in the army gave her early access to the Prometheans.

Mech name: Zafiro

Mech Design: Zafiro is a cat shaped mech, it is smaller than most Prometheans and much more nimble. It has 5 sharp claws on each paw which are used for climbing, and dismembering enemies. The limbs are very exposed, and compared to other Prometheans, very weak, but Zafiro is used for agility and speed. The defense is severly lacking but the speed and mounted guns make up for that. It is painted a deep blue because Zafiro is Sapphire in Spanish, it has orange spots throughout the mech and it appears to be a giant, metal, blue jaguar.

oh and can i get some guidelines as to what style mech's we are talking about. Gundamish, battletech, armored coreish or like verticle tanks. I'm hoping for battletech, but it seems that you don't mind the mechs being unrealistic (just gotta remember no anti-matter):p

Background/Bio: His father was British and his mother French. Born in Britain he joined the GEA army at 19. Showing great potential he quickly progressed through the ranks to sergeant, he then joined special forces taking part in some of the key actions as a background operative, actively working behind enemy lines. He was particularly noted for having a fondness for heavy weaponry such as artillery pieces, going far as having a affinity with such weapons, he could accurately and efficiently lay down fire from almost any heavy weapon he laid his hands on with little to no training. TGA command decided he would make an excellent heavy weapons promethean pilot

Mech name: Harbinger
Mech Design: The Harbinger is Midnight Blue and stands at 6 meters. It has medium-heavy armour and shielding.

Four 500mm long-range 'Hell raiser' cannons reside on its shoulders with two on each shoulder. These are capable of firing a multitude of rounds ranging from anti armour, anti shield and high explosive, with a maximum fire rate of 30 rounds a minute either direct or indirect, however they can only be fired when The Harbinger deploys into lockdown mode, essentially digging it's self in, it takes 30 seconds to deploy into and up to 2 minutes to deploy out of, the harbinger can merely turn it's top half when locked down. When un-deployed the cannons lock upright on the back of the mech

Harbinger also has two missile pods which are inside it's shoulders, they come out the side when firing. Each pod is capable of firing 10 missile before having to reload, reload time is approximately 1 minute. The missiles carried are a range of missile ranging from surface to surface missiles, heat seeking, long range cruise missiles and two prototype long range 'Phoenix' cruise missiles. Phoenix cruise missiles are long range super powerful missiles. They have a maximum speed of Mach 7 and a range of 200 miles. When a target is designated the missile will home onto the target and release a small payload of secondary ammunition in bomblet form along the line of attack at up to a kilometre from the target causing untold devastation, the main warhead will then hit the main target and detonate. The main warhead is high density high explosive plasma yield which detonates with the explosive power of a small yield nuclear warhead minus the radiation fallout. This weapon is designed for airfield denial and well dug in enemies in a fortified city.

Harbinger also has a 40mm chain gun attached to it's right forearm for up-close defence.

The main cockpit has the usual targeting sensor arrays, communications, night vision, thermal vision and electrical detection vision also it has the ability to lock onto and zoom in on targets.

Just to let everyone know, that I am going to allow character sheet submissions till thursday. It wasn't my plan to do this, however, my laptop is refusing to turn back on, so I have no regular access to the internet. Sorry for any hassle.

Bio: Nicolas is the youngest of three children born into the Sorensen family; a family with a long line of public service. Nicolas's father was a career general in the Annex military for many years. After being retiring from the military, Nicolas's father James served successfully for two terms in the Annex senate and went on to become elected 9th president of the Unbroken Annex. James always instilled in Nicolas a sense of public duty and honor, and reminded him to put others before himself.

Nicolas enlisted in a youth military program when he was sixteen wishing to serve his country and to make his father proud. Sadly on March 19 2152, President James Sorensen was shot by a Brazilian nationalist while giving a speech at a rally in San Palo.

His father's death greatly affected Nicolas. Nicolas became more cynical about life and while he still retained his unshakable conviction to public service, he is more apprehensive about the public he serves. His father's assassination also left him with a strong dislike of the Brazilians within the Annex.

Nicolas rapidly advanced within the military, achieving the rank of lieutenant when he was twenty two. Some grumbled that he was only advancing because he was the son of a president; however Nicholas maintained an excellent track record, achieving top marks on his military aptitude test and his exceptional skills as a mech pilot. In the battlefield, Nicolas coordinates with and relies on teamwork with others to get the job done, however in his personal life, Nicholas tends to be a loner and tries not to lean on anyone for support. He had even refused secret service protection after his father's assassination.

Mech name: Gryphon

Mech Design: Gryphon stands at eight meters tall, with a black matte paint color and a silver trim. Gryphon's design gives it two arms and two hands which allows it to grasp and manipulate objects to a certain degree. Gryphon is rather Spartan with weapons however, it only has a shoulder mounted rocket launcher with three shots and a large handheld chain gun with an explosive ammunition belt feed to connects to a medium sized store of ammunition hosed deep within the mech. However, Gryphon tends to burn through the ammunition rather rapidly. The mech also features heavy amour around the torso and cockpit, as well as on the forearms, however it is more lightly armored everywhere else. This makes Gryphon a little slower, but still allows for rapid short movements, such as if an opposing mech attacks with a close quarter melee weapon.

Please let me know if I need to change anything, I realize that my charaters back story may need some tweeks if it contradicts the games story.

A small point I'd like to point out to people making sheets. It's not a major thing, but it bothers me for some reason. There is a sizing issue. These mechs average between 4 and 5 meters in height. My own was 6m, I understand, but I did so as part of the large, imposing nature of the character that it was assigned to. Like I said, it just bothers me that there are some entries here that are 8 and 10m tall, twice as large as the norm.

I'm not holding anyone at fault, we never laid out any guidlines of this sort for mech design. However, we are loosely basing the mechs on these if anyone cares to look.

Okay, so it's based on the Knightmare design, I'll scale my mech down a little.

ok now that i know its based on the knightmare frame (which is a very cool design) i can get to work on the mech part of my sheet. but seeing as its nearing midnight right now. i'll have to submit it tomorrow

I finally got my mech sketched out. I'd ask for it to be put straight into my sheet, but I wanted to bump the thread.
Yes, it's very rough and ugly looking as a sketch, but I think it gets the general look across.
I'll take this opportunity to say that we could use one more Valhalla member before we start. I'm not asking for someone to change faction, just giving a hint to anyone who joins now.
