Okay so by now some of you may have stumbled across this video on youtube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JqGhgSjHoNs

If you can't be bothered to watch the video then here's the general idea: You are challenged to see if you can get 25 kills with a knife in ONE LIFE.

I want to find out if any of you other escapists are as badass with a knife as Sam Fisher so please post a response stating your top kill streak with a knife and if you have reached the coveted 25.

Some rules:
-Can be in MW1 or MW2 (mw1 is certainly harder because of the smaller maps and no perks like commando or marathon or the such)
-Any perks/weapon set you want
-Not allowed to use ANY kill streaks to reach your goal. (Not even UAV)
-Video evidence is preferable but if you are unable to capture the streak then just saying it is okay. (Just know that if you lie I will know and I will come to your home and preform a 25 kill streak on your internal organs)

For me I haver tried about 6-7 times and my highest kill streak is 7 (in MW1)

Hmm. I'm not sure to bash this as a failure/advertisement or to be intrigued to see who has no life as to try this. If it doesn't get me a title or icon thing I don't care. People need motivation to do anything. Fro example, if it was for the barracks xp and shit. I would never bother unlocking the nuke perk.

MW2, around 5. I use the perks Marathon, Lightweight, and Commando. So far only Commando at Pro. But I'm halfway there, only have to run 15 more miles. I use the USP .45, mostly for the Tactical Knife attachment you get later. However, I don't think I will ever reach 25 knife kills. Think I'll go with the killstreaks instead. Much easier and the distance between you and a Nuke becomes shorter.

Couldn't you just call one of your friends, get them on, and have both of you taking turns to get most of the awards via letting each other kill each other?
Srsly, no thought needs to be put in at all.

I don't remember, but I think I got somewhere around 8-10. Higher if we count killstreak reward kills.

More things need to be clarified though:
-No equipment allowed, even throwing knives or tactical insertions?
-Heartbeast sensor attachment? (This is what I used with my knifer class - sniper rifle /w heartbeat sensor. Gives you ghillie suit, zoom capability, max speed, and handy detection).

It's a rather difficult challenge and would likely take a very long time to obtain if you're not using any killstreak rewards at all.

22 tac knife kills in Invasion on MW2. That map is great for this. It has so many passage ways to get to your desired location. This means that there is always a way behind your enemy then you get to go stab happy on their ass. The difficult bit is the begging when you both spawn because thats the hardest time to get behind them because they spread out. Either wait or knife your way through then hide for a bit. They usualy group together down an alley and there will be an unguarded way to get to them.

Other great Knifing maps I have found are:
Downpour (hard to seeyou )
Quarry(If your lucky)
Favela(Same reasons as above just not as many ways to sneak around and large open areas where you get shot)
Skidrow (plenty of corners and bends so you will be in and out quickly. Just watch the straight bit in the middle because you will be shot at from either end. It helps if you weave through the building)
Karachi (same as Favela)
Rundown (just watch out when you have to cross the bridges)
EDIT: Forgot Sub base. I love that one.

Knife class pansies... It's like imitation crab meat, except instead of crab meat they're imitating someone with skill.

Out of curiosity, what exactly is wrong with knifers? If someone is knifing but is not abusing any exploits, I'd say that's completely fine. They're constantly moving/rushing instead of camping as well, and I hear a lot of people hate campers.

As someone once said "Would you rather me shoot you to death?".

I have a Nintendo 64 flashback, some James Bond game with a knife-only mode. God it was fun. I was 13 or something. fun times.

I got that in COD4.

Amazing how easy it is to jump around in a building in Crash killing people.

Here's a REAL challenge: try that against people with the ability to actually aim their gun at reasonable speed. And without the 0 ping host advantage the guy in the video obviously has.

Get the PC version of cod4, then replicate that video, i dare you.

I've done it on TF2. Requires more skill.
As much as I love TF2, I have to disagree with you quite strongly here. In TF2 you have a number of advantages, including:

Ability to become nearly invisible
Relatively large HP pool
Objective and role based gameplay
Ability to disguise as a member of the opposing team
Weapon that is disproportionately powerful

While it does require a high degree of skill to excel as a Spy in TF2, the advantages in question are fantastically useful when it comes to long runs as a spy. In MW2, for all the complaining people do about the knifing, you have to realize that a gun is ALWAYS better than a knife anywhere but point blank range. Death comes quite quickly in MW2 - often in less than a second, and you aren't gifted with a wide variety of tricks at your disposal to help balance the field.
