$250,000 for a glass ball???

Whilst browsing on eBay, I cam across an interesting artifact by Square, the company that made the original Final Fantasy.

Though only 50 were made, this man is expecting someone to buy this baseball-sized sphere off of him for a grand total of 250 grand. I did a double take and googled the object. Turns out he wasn't kidding, but I still don't think it's worth that much.

What do you think Escapists, would you pay the same price for a Final Fantasy glass sphere as you would for a Rolls Royce?

I think given the choice between a shiny glass ball and that kind of money people would choose to stick with the money, even if there were only 50 made.
