Days was an epic, amazing, super fantastic unZombie movie (keep in mind, they never died, they just got Super Ra(ge)bies.). I never saw the second one, but it seemed like a super silly premise so I really have no interest in it, especially after everything I've heard about it.
Like I said, the second one isn't exactly amazing, but it is still worth watching. The biggest problem with it would have to be its connection (or lack thereof) to the original plot. Yes, yes, there was a new director and everything, but they still could have tried to connect it to the first movie.

28 Days Later was a good film however, because this film brought to the end of the "walking" zombies, I shall forever hate this film with a mighty curse

I liked Days more than Weeks, but I still liked Weeks.
I just hope that "28 Months Later" will be out soon. (I think that it's being made)
The ending of 28 Weeks Later was a cliff hanger, and it pissed me off SO much.
Yeah, the ending of 'Weeks' made me want to chew gravel too. 'Months' better be amazing.

Days was better. Much better. Weeks couldn't live up to what Days was. That's not to say that Weeks was bad. Just not AS good.

28 was a great film I picked up for a couple of quid and although 28 weeks wasn't as awesome, it was still a good watch. Well it was up to the end. Not only was it a cliff hanger, but France? I was expecting somewhere in the British Isles since when there are different languages about it messes up the plot a bit.

Anyone know if it's a dirrect sequal to 28 weeks or not?

Both were awesome.

I don't think there will be a sequel though.

there's not much room for one.

They have the cure now, everything will be back to normal.
If you saw the end of the credits for weeks, the outbreak spread to Paris. So the chances of a sequel are highly likely, even if it isn't high budget.

I enjoyed both films quite a lot, although I did enjoy 28 days a bit more, I still found 28 weeks to be thoroughly entertaining as well.

Also I wouldn't mind seeing a third one, provided that it's good.

There was a scene at the end?

Damn it! I never sit to the end. I need to start doing that.

I'll be honest, I didn't like either.
I'm all for zombie-type (I can't really call them 'true' zombies) but 28Days just didn't cut it for me. Good, but certainly (imo) nothing to write home about. I liked the focus on the small group though. And it was entertaining.

28 Weeks? Ha. The first time I watched it, I fell asleep halfway through (in the cinema). When i actually managed to stay awake through, I actually laughed. I found the plot to be lacking. It It was no where near as good as the first one.

28 Months? I'm looking forward to it, truth be told, if only to see what, if anything happens next. I'm hoping we manage to get a good film (on parr, if not better than Days). Paris or Russia, it could be fun.

28 Days Later was pretty epic. A masterful and fresh (at the time) take on the zombie genre.

28 Weeks Later was fucking retarded. I kept wanting to scream at the TV because of how idiotic the characters had to be in order for the virus to spread at all. You could trust the characters to do every single stupid thing that no one in their right mind ever would. I highly recommend that you stay away from this movie, and if you encounter it you shoot it in the head and torch the corpse.

Lol, it's a bad habit I picked up from working at a theater, you just get used to it.

I am a fan of both "Days" and "Weeks".......days had that holy crap something is gonna jump out at any moment this is freaky as hell feel to it....while weeks had more of a city is overrun (in this case again) but there are fresh survivors to chase and more of a brand new outbreak gotta escape the city feel.
I love them both and I hope there will be/can't wait for the next.

Once the virus spread to the European mainland, it really opened up for another sequel to take place pretty much anywhere. Chances of containing it dropped to little more than zero.

Yeah, guess that's true.
