Bioshock 1 and 2, all the Half-Life games, and hopes at several others, as well as hatred for the Valve pack costing the same as Portal 2 did when I bought it after release, as well as Shogun 2 being down significantly from release day. Those 2 things alone will keep me from ever buying another Steam game at release.

I got Borderlands the other day. Getting Alpha Protocol, New Vegas, and Bully now. I already don't have enough time to play all the games I have...starting to think I have a problem.

So far I've gotten Borderlands and Alpha Protocol. Also picked up GTA:SA a few days before the official summer sales for ~$3 so I count it.

So far, only Trine since... well I play on a Mac and there's not much else to get >.>
I'm waiting for maybe Civ5 to go on sale or Europa 3 but nothing else really appeals to me that's on Mac.
Hoping for some more stuff though :D

I'm afraid to buy anything, if I buy a game it may be on the day sale for tomorrow.
Don't be afraid of the daily deals. Those won't be beat any time soon. Your best bet is to buy all the daily deals you see as they appear, and on July 10th, when the last day is, buy everything else you want before it goes off sale.

This is bullshit. Right now I'm stuck on a terrible laptop that can barely run Minecraft, and I might be getting a new computer soon, but if I don't, I don't want to have bought a bunch of games that I won't be able to play.

So far, I've gotten the Magicka: Complete Pack, Torchlight, G-Mod, Mount and Blade: Complete, and redeemed the Magicka DLC arena and Killing Floor Steampunk characters the day they came out. Still need to beat Abusement Park to get Steampunk Mr. Foster though...

Bioshock 2 - I was waiting for that deal for a while now

Mount&Blade - vanilla only, not sure I'll actually like it. If I do, I get the rest in the next deal(s).

And the deal made me look up AssCreed:BroHood on the amazons and I got them there for 4? cheaper than on Steam's "deal".

The deals suck for new-ish games

Agreed.

I got Metro 2033, the saboteur and Just cause for 2 quid each off amazon. Brand new, with no postage. Pah, who need steam?

Mass effect 2 for a fiver as well...

Only bought A Sanctum 2-Pack so far. I'm hoping that Terraria goes dirt cheap at some point. If not, i'll buy it anyway while its at least 30% off

<-----cheapskate (and broke)

Eh, no offense but Warband is pretty much a straight upgrade over vanilla. Much better and looks nicer too. With Fire & Sword is rather rough and not as fun as Warband.

Anyway, I ended up only buying Frozen Synapse and Alpha Protocol, I've been saving up for a new computer for awhile so I can't afford to spend alot. I've bought many, many games off of GoG's Interplay sale though.

I bought the 2K Games Complete Pack... I casually enjoy the Civilization games, and I have to sit myself through the two BioShocks one of these days. Well worth it, in my opinion.

I bought Torchlight on Saturday, then yesterday it was on sale. If I had more money right now I'd buy some other games but Torchlight's gonna have to do me probably until Christmas.
If you email their support they should refund you the difference.

So far I've only got Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

First time I've ever played it and I fucking LOVE it.

I'm only buying games that are on daily deals, then I might get one or two others at the end if they haven't come up yet.

Only Frozen Synapse so far. It's beautiful.

Already had Torchlight but that's a brilliant game as well, really don't need to start buying loads of games as I still have things I haven't played from the Christmas one...

I'm holding out until the very end of that sale. Trying to find a buddy to go half on Frozen Synapse since it comes with two copies. Figured he could buy it and I could just gift him something for that extra copy.

Glad you think it's good though, makes me feel good about trying to snag it.

Though they really need to put Dungeon Keeper 1 and 2 on there
Well, unless you don't mind going behind the back of Steam, GoG has at least the first one and I wouldn't be surprised if the second one become available sooner or later on there.

As for what I bought, well... >.>
Alpha Protocol, Bully, Tropico 3, Dragon Age 2, Torchlight, Two Worlds 2, The Witcher 2, Plants vs. Zombies, HOARD and a bunch of others. They're so damn cheap, I couldn't resist!
