Representation is, in this sense, a means by which you can duplicate the image on an idea.
Realism is a means by which you can duplicate an image based on reality.
The problem is that Carnival Games; not being set on any set area, automatically responds to Realism but not Representation due to a problem that was spotted after it was on it's way to manufacture; and the comment on it is made by someone who wasn't even employed at the company at the time.
Wiimii's, however, are based on Representation being real, and in fact there's far more Representation than Realism there; given you can take your 'Real' character into Mario Kart, where such things like Caucasian etc. simply don't exist.
Now, I'll take some time to read over your description of ethics before I re-respond, but don't you think it's a little off to bring in a discussion point based on something that cannot be discussed easily on a forum? It seems like a little heavy handed.
