I could have been close but got banned due to letting trolls push my buttons. Now i deleted the option to get informed of all reply and quotes to anything i right so i dont get that issue any more. This site has a great community, but dont let people here get you annoyed enough to write insults. Easily done.

I remember the "Which Mustache was best" threads, dealing with World War 1 and 2. I remember witnessing the wrath of Canadian Lumber, a noire version of Super Smash Brothers, and lurking for a video contest where some crazy Canadians did voice over commentary of cutscenes, and won. I remember Zynga and Mojang in the finals, and being entertained as the guys with some of the highest post counts decided to commit internet suicide, or reincarnation, or possibly just cryostasis, and either got booted, banhammered, or wedged into a preserve jar. Been a fun couple of years. Grats and thanks to everyone that made it possible.

I remember a lot of people have come and gone and most people who achieve Escapist fame tend to eventually be banned or regress into User groups never be heard from on the Gaming or Off Topic sections.

I remember many a cancelled series and ones that have left and ones that ended. Regardless of what people thought it and what happened towards the end De-Rez is still my favourite show to ever be on this site but got stretched a little thin towards the end.

I remember many a March Mayhem and the bannings and abuse that it brought and the ridiculous battle between Valve and Zynga and people(myself included) being annoyed about certain practises.

I also remember when 1,000 used to be a big deal and users where judged by post count and their grammatical ability and we used to complain when people made constant Vs and repeat threads. We still do the former but not to the same degree.

The times change and here we are now so I suppose congratulations and try stay on for another 36 months. I won't be getting mine for a good while as I missed a few months.
