310% flying mounts

Anyone who plays wow wants one of the new drake 310% speed mount. However do any of you ever notice in dalaran the people with the mounts in front of the banks? On my server I saw this full valor rogue sit in front of the bank with her mount for over 5 hours. As well with other people that do the same. Great mount but WTF IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE?! And they do this like everyday, they sit in front of the bank on my mount and sit there for hours never moving or doing anything, and they are never afk.

They just want to draw attention to themselves. Its only natural after all, rare mounts are rare for a reason; it takes a lot of effort to get one.

The hate I'm refering to is the stereotypical internet attitude that because somebody plays WoW, there is something wrong with them.

It's what people who reach the highest level in WoW do, once they also have their epic mount. Reminds me of a short conversation that took place in the guild chat channel, back in my WoW days:

Player 1 : "I've just hit level 70, what should I do now"?
Player 2: "Strut around in front of the Ironforge bank on your epic mount"

It may serve a practical purpose though. Being near the bank (and I'd also assume the auction house - I'm not aware of the layout of Dalaran) on their zippy mounts, they can quickly nip in and pick up the stuff they need for their raiding antics.

To be able to fly them, 5 thousand gold. The mount is anywhere from 200 gold to 1600 gold.
On top of that, you need 1000 gold to get "normal" flying and another 1000 for "Cold weather flying". Quite a bit just to show off.
