I doubt that MS would go 'all out' on marketing, since it's just a peripheral. With the added on cost of 70 bucks or so the 360 is definetly more expensive than the Wii, and the Wii already has quite the head start in this field.darthzew said:This COULD work because the 360 is cheaper than the Wii. However, they'd have to go ALL OUT with the marketing for this and then it might not work because this peripheral wouldn't come with the console itself.
Either way, this WILL mean sales.
God bless you for trying.scotth266 said:XboxWii60? PSWii? Anyone?
Yea, right about now we will enter the console cold-war. The race is on.Spacelord said:Ok, the console wars have been fought, and everyone lost. Now please return to your homes.
It's the 28th here, dunno where you are (or them for that matter) but I don't think so.Mr.Pandah said:April Fool's Day anyone?
I'm inclined to hide behind a news paper.Brotherofwill said:Yea, right about now we will enter the console cold-war. The race is on.
Of course they won't. I'm actually more skeptical, however, about the games that'll use this controller.Brotherofwill said:I doubt that MS would go 'all out' on marketing, since it's just a peripheral. I'm skeptical about the success.
Yea but the peripheral cost money (around 70 bucks), so the Wii is cheaper, that's what I meant.darthzew said:Of course they won't. And the 360, at point blank observation, is indeed $50 cheaper than the Wii. We could argue which has better value all night. ("Wii has a game included" "but the 360 has a DVD player" "oh but...")
Ah, I missed the price. Well, then, label me ignorant.Brotherofwill said:Yea but the peripheral cost money (around 70 bucks), so the Wii is cheaper, that's what I meant.
Totally agree here, the games will be the main selling point and unless they announce something promising, we all will be skeptical
This is why there's indie gaming, because when they charge you, they'll be honest about it.MBurner 93 said:I have lost faith in almost all of the video game developing world... Profit whores!
Me neither. Why worry about if Sony or MS make games for it? That's the only way I can see it working, or atleast being worth a damn.Jumplion said:They're made by a third-party company, I don't think we have much to worry about with either Sony or Microsoft making games specifically for it.
Though I wouldn't be surprised...
