360 Owners! What's In Your Collection? Is Mine Weird?

The 360 is my main gaming machine, and I like to think I have a nice range of different types of games, although there is obviously a focus on the genres I prefer. But I often find that a lot of the games I own none of the people on my friends list own. These games aren't really obscure, but I still find I'm often the only person on my friends list who owns it. So I was wondering what kind of games do 360 owners here have. Is it unusual for people to own the games I do on 360 or is it just the people who I happen to have on my friends list?

Most of the people on my friends list I met through Forza, so they often play that and similar games, but I still find that it's rare that people own the lesser known racing games that I do. RPGs don't seem to be very popular either, except TES.

And El Shaddai is pretty good. It's really trippy and stylish. There's not much depth to it but it's entertaining enough. The visuals never get boring. Always something crazy to look at, although it can sometimes make the platforming a pain because you can't really judge distances well.

That's probably because Forza fans usually lean towards simulation racers rather than the arcade kind you do.

That is true, but it seems you already know the answer.

Forza is pretty much the only driving game you need on the 360 though, excluding the likes of Trials HD/Evolution.

Meh, I've never really been that interested in bikes or games involving them. I tried out Trials HD back when it was new. I found it okay, but it was just so frustrating. I get really irritated really fast having to do the same thing over and over.

But I think there are other racing games worth having. Like Burnout, or maybe DiRT if you're in to off road stuff.

I'm primarily PC, but I love split-screen multiplayer and the ability to share gaming between friends/family/roommates so much that I have to pick up a few games for the NetfliXbox.

Also, I'm such a Valve fanboy that I feel the need to purchase their games often more than twice (I think I bought the Orange Box a total of 8 times).

I don't have the biggest collection and I'm kind of thin on multiplayer. But OP I don't think your collection is weird. Aside from the racing games (which aren't weird, I just suck at them), I'd play all the games you own.
