3D, am I the only one?

I don't see 3D tv being that popular.
You'll have a bunch of early adopters, like you do with all technology, but eventually people will see it as too much of a pointless hassle.

That isn't unlikely. VHS survived long after it should have died because of the porn industry.
Honestly I think 3D is cool, but of course it's a gimmick, and for the moment it's also pretty bad. Wearing glasses that are really painful to wear to watch something in 3D that gives you a headache and makes you dizzy. That might just be me, but in either case I don't see myself buying a 3D TV even if I win big in the lottery.
