3D vision + Motion Controls = A step towards "VR?"

I'm curious to see how the Escapist community views this.

While motion controls aren't nearly as good as they could be, if we were able to polish it, can you see the potential of this working towards true VR?

I always thought VR be more mental controls, like the Matrix with a port into your brain stem.

I suppose any gaming innovation works towards VR in a way, if only as kind of a "Well, we definitely won't implement it that way," type thing.

That said, if you're asking if 3D and motion controls will evenually become VR, no.
