3DS or Xbox Kinect? Which will you get?

3DS. It's gonna have Ocarina of Time (a game I never got a chance to play before but have heard is excellent) and a Kingdom Hearts game.
Well I won't buy either at Christmans, but I will get the 3DS before I get the Kinect. Kinect isn't interesting to me for gaming purposes, it's more interesting for fitness and physotherapy purposes, and it'll be a while before anything like that gets released for it. Not to mention, I'd rather have it on PC with some robust software rather than just a game.fa_fallen_ye said:

Not really interested, but if I had to choose 1, I'd go for the 3DS, cause it's a console, and Kinect is a peripheral.
And if I were into game trinkets for Xmass (Had a shameful lot of money to blow) I'd buy a fuckin' Power Gig guitar or something.

Probably neither. I'm not interested in Kinect, I think it's gimmicky and not necessarily a move forward for gaming.

3DS. Honestly, both seem kinda gimmicky, one going for the 3D craze and one going the motion control craze. Seeing as how I can just buy a Wii, which pretty much does the same thing as the Kinect only better, then I'll go with the 3DS. Besides, I have one of the original DSs and Its starting to break down on me...

Between those choices? The 3DS. I go where the Pokemon are, when it comes to handhelds, and whatever comes after Black/White Version is bound to drop there. Besides, I've already got a Wii filling all my "waving my arms like an idiot" quota, so I have no use for a Kinect.
