Why hasn't this been in an ACTUAL video games.

We joke about the heroic one liner spouting dude but most of the time it's done purely sarcastically.

I would love a game where the main character was unironic about these things.

You are literally describing Duke Nukem 3D. Unfortunately, then Duke Nukem Forever happened so no one wants to make those games any more.

I called this like three comics ago. I like it. Just like I said back then I don't think Gunny has learned anything about friendship, but rather saving them lined up with some goal of his related to flags.

This comic has grown in quality a lot as time has gone on. Its quite good now.

Drop pods kills are for the weak.
In Section 8, you drop without a pod, and can kill people with a literal fist from low-orbit.
