The question here is, who is the lesser of two evils?

Anonymous, obviously, Most of the time they act like assholes to even bigger assholes, eg Lulzsec who steal information without justification.

EDIT: Actualy this reminds me of the Dark Knight, Lulzsec is the Joker, a person who acts as if his actions are jokes but secretly hates everything, and Anon is being the dark crusader and protector.

Anon - legendary collective of nameless ghosts online who take down things like the FCC without even trying. They have no leaders yet have more organization than the Wermacht did.

Lulzsec - A name that screams "I'm a massive C**t* from the word go who have basically just been knocking out login servers for games run by companies who cant really defend themselves against big attacks.

SO the instant they provoke Anon they ARE going to get utterly decimated and when they scream for mercy the sound will be drowned out with their own blood ... metaphorically which is a shame because if it was real blood Id be happier.

If they were attempting cyber-terrorism, it was a pretty limp-willied go at it. What, were Minecraft and The Escapist down for, a day? The real joke is that the Escapist was still perfectly accessible from my PS3 when it was down everywhere else.

Lulzsec are acting like bullies and have pissed off way too many people much bigger than themselves. The day someone hangs their asses out to dry, I will throw a little party and toast to their demise... Or perhaps they'll hit puberty and get distracted by girls long enough to stop picking on stuff I like.

looking at his twitter , he just released like 62k emails with password for various sites including paypal , facebook , WoW etc . I dl it to see if its real and it was actually some dudes mail . People say that it would be good to have 4chan gone but I feel like a big part of our history would just vanish. How can you even take them down in the first place? Neither side is truly in the right.

That being said, I hope anon obliterates lulzsec. Something I think they are more than capable of. 4chan has been around for years and I've only heard of the lulzsec recently.

People have to remember that Anon and /b/ are completely different groups. 4channers, while they might have SOME anonymous members, are not Anon themselves. 4chan is the one that is currently going after lulzsec, not Anon. Anon has remained quiet during this whole ordeal. However, th3j35t3r has a huge vendetta on Lulz right now, and apparently shutdown one of their ircs last night, and got a few of their member's names.
