Hey all. I recently started running a 4th Edition shadowrun game with a few players from my regular IRL D&D games via Skype. We've been running them as random pickups when everyone has some spare time in the evenings (or late nights, depending) and I was thinking that it might be fun to draft in some internet folk and bulk up the player group.

The idea would be that play would happen primarily in the evening (after 6 or 7) and would generally just form whenever both I and at least a couple players wanted to play for a bit. My schedule is generally open most evenings, so the exact time and day of our games can be fairly flexible. I and the players I already have are all on Pacific Standard Time, so check to be sure your free time meshes up with ours (7PM to around 2 or 3AM most nights) if you aren't in the same time-zone.

Being an experienced player isn't required (as I'm fairly new to the system myself) but having a basic idea what you're doing is greatly preferred, and having access to at least the basic Shadowrun 4E book is a must. We're using Chummer (Google it if you don't know what it is, it's a fantastic program) for keeping track of everything and I would expect every player to submit their character as a Chummer sheet for me to update alongside their own copy as we play.

Starting BP is 300 (we're being all hardcore about it) and the game is mostly restricted to the basic setting of Seattle in 2072.

If you're interested, post here or send me a PM.

Super interested. Shadowrun may be one of my favorite games

*cough cough [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/540.376903-Limit-of-Infinity-A-Shadowrun-RP-Game-thread#14690896] cough*

I have some characters in mind, though I'll need to scale them back a bit (Most of the groups I've played with in the past have used the standard 400 BP). I've never used (or heard of) chummer before (I use the Excel sheet from the Dumpshock Forums) so it may take a while to learn the program and get converted.

Does the group need any specific abilities?

So, yeah. Due to some random difficulties, we're going to be using Steam voice chat instead of Skype. My Steam ID is Poerts.
