1. Breaking Benjamin
2. Three Days Grace
3. Disturbed
4. Within Temptation
5. Metallica

Linkin Park would've made the list...but they changed their sound way too much in their last album. D:

1) Muse
2) Radiohead
3) Rise Against
4) Tool
5) Metallica

That was much harder than I thought it would be.

1. Aphex Twin (for electronic music)
2. Supertramp ((original members) for rock)
3. m-flo (for hip-hop)
4. Gorillaz (for everything under the sun)
5. ZUN (for catchy melodies)

Basically, the essentials of music: innovative, diverse, lively, intriguing, and earworm. I prefer many other artists to some of the listed above, but without variety, I will grow disinterested and left with nothing in the future to look forward to.

Scenario - The world is coming to an end and you and GOD has guaranteed your survival. In addition, you can allow only 5 bands to be saved. Which ones would you choose?

Mine:
1. Hoobastank
2. Sonta Artica
3. POD (Payable On Death)
4. The Offspring
5. The Molly Ringwalds

Keep in mind that you pick the bands that you believe have the best music. Don't just choose a chick band just so you can repopulate the earth. Pick the bands whose music has influenced you the most.

Edit: Should have said this earlier. Any band can be chosen - Living, Dead, Together, Broken up - Doesn't matter.
1)Great Big Sea
2)Sum 41
3)Green Day
4)Tenacious D
5)Disturbed

Everybody ever associated with Estradasphere. Especially John Whooley. We would all share a heavenly orgy.

Oh, uh, four others?
Amiina
Rachel's
Dirty Three
Au Revoir Simone

Then we would all proceed to have an orgy. With any luck John Whooley and I can go halfsies on Heather D'Angelo.

In no particular order:
-Weezer
-Moby
-The Beatles
-Led Zeppelin
-Radiohead

Notice how each category contrasts with another. XD
