5 days until Skyrim. What are you doing first?

I'll probably spend my first day or so hunting and doing odd jobs about the starting town, trying out the skills, see which I'll focus on.
I'll probably ignore the main quest for at least a week or so.

Blow through the main quest. That's what I do with every game. Then I'll look for side quests.

Find food. I'm playing my character as a survival guru, so first thing he will do is find a wild animal to kill and eat. After that, I'll find a town where I can do some work.

Probably what I did last time; complete the prologue, test my combat skills out on a puny priest, realise the puny priest is actually a kick-ass fighter and struggle to kill him, then get enlisted into the Dark Brotherhood...

Of course, it is tradition. My way to start any Elder Scrolls game is to step fresh out of prison, bask in the new environment for a brief moment, and then beat the first bystander to death with whatever I picked up during my tutorial-to-freedom, and then steal their clothes!.

I played morrowind a lot back in the day. So given my habbit, Fagoth died a lot. (Sometimes the guys in the census office died a lot too). Oblivion was a blast too, as I could wonder off in any direction, not knowing when I'd stumble into my first walking wardrobe.

I'm going to start the game by dumping all starting equipment and venturing into the wild bare-fisted and bare-assed. Hopefully, by the time I reach civilization, I will be decked out with weaponry and armor that I've rightfully EARNED, either from defeating bandits / monsters / what-have-you, or from exploring the land and looting its forgotten treasure chests.

I don't like starting equipment. I always feel like a n00b until every bit of it has been replaced with gear that I have aquired by actually PLAYING the game, rather than just pressing "START". Dumping that garbage right away saves me the bother of doing so later.
