5 Games to Introduce Somebody to Gaming

well I would say Super mario, Zelda

its really hard to do it in 5 games without actually knowing the person you would be doing it for. if i was introducing gaming to someone with similar interests then i would choose different games then if i was trying to get my dad into gaming etc.

if the person was similar to me i would probably go with

1: Mass Effect
2: Civ 5
3: FFX
4: TF2
5: Madden/fifa

but if they were similar to me i very much doubt they wouldn't be gaming

Mass effect? Thats is not good introduction game way too much text.

-Mario Sunshine

-LoZ Windwaker

-Pokemon HeartGold

-Call of Duty 4

-World of Warcraft

An odd list considering I don't own any of these games any more and would only play 2 of them again, Wind waker and Sunshine FYI. I just feel they are all things that need to be experienced to allow people to shape their views of gaming and their future as a gamer without being stuck in a niche.

Mass Effect 2

Call of Duty 4

5 games which I enjoyed tremendously and can still look back and remember clearly when I played them for the first time. All of which (I feel) offer a degree of immersion and, most importantly, fun which in my opinion could get someone hooked on gaming. Certainly did for me.
