1. No way, not with our current relationship with China. Remember 2 things: it took Clinton years to create a surplus, and the "surplus" was not really a surplus at all, since they only paid off 1 year and were still overall in the red.
2. Why? Why this year? I mean, I know Kimmy's crazy and all, but...
3. Yes, a new reason for the rest of the world to mock us.
4. I don't think either will happen, unless (another) war breaks out in the desert.
5. "Some bad." Can we add to this some good, some mediocre, some so-so, and some excellent?

I'll post again after I've pondered a bit, but just off the top of my head, I predict that the US economy will just begin to improve, the Wii will have another good year for action games (which is overdue), and Sony will continue to give the middle finger to the consumer.
