Hmm the GBA micro and sp fit great in a pocket but what about the games? Nice blocky carts while I've got 20 psp, 700 NES, 15 GBA and 4 N64 games on my memory stick in my PSP so... sure its more portable if you only got 1 game or 2.
While you have something of point (I have 4 GBA, 2 NES and 8 spectrum games on my 256 Mbit GBA Flash cart) the old battery life problem rears it's head.
It's the same for all Handhelds, including my beloved GBA... there's not really any point in carrying around 200 games when the battery life only allows you to play 1 or 2.

I liked the fact that there was a huge variety of games for the GBA. There were so many of each genre that you were bound to find a game you liked. That, as well as the fact that they were easy to make, and the game was usually made before it could be overhyped by false promises.
