Find a friend to chat with, Answer an 'Avatar above you' thread, Watch all the 'Doomsday Arcade's, Create an INTELLIGENT thread... Oh, and Zero Punctuation, of course.
- Make at least one friend for life. I've met so many lovely people here!
- Watch through some of the video series from before they joined. It's not all about pornstars, dogs and imps
- Argue their opinion. Everyone here has a voice, use it!
- Join a group, chat about things they love with people that share that love, be it tabletop gaming, tf2 or insanity.
- Learn something new about the games industry you love. Check the news, listen to conflicting opinions, anything! There is always something new to know!

Make a controversial statement: Every Escapist deserves to experience the heady thrill of seeing that bright red notification pop up every few minutes, followed immediately by that sinking feeling when you realize it's yet another angry response to that poorly-conceived comment you made about Half-Life fanboys.
2. Watch "There Will Be Brawl": The series ended a long time ago, but it was, and persists to be, one of the Escapist's best video series. It's only 10 episodes long, so there's really no excuse not to watch the whole run.
3. Watch "Zero Punctuation": Because hey, love it or hate it, ZP is still what put the Escapist on the map, and that deserves a little recognition.
4. Read "The Movie Nerd Bible Parts I & II": They're fantastic articles, and quite possibly the summation of everything a movie nerd is and should aspire to be.
5. Write a game review: We all need to try it at some point.
