5 Videogames everyone should play

5) Megaman X (Everyone needs to get their ass handed to them at one point.)
4) Halo: Combat Evolved (An amazing game with one of the best soundtracks of its time.)
3) Super Mario 64 (3-D Platforming at its best.)
2) The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Not my favorite Zelda game, but the perfect starting point for anyone new to the series.)
1) Plants vs Zombies (Amazing art style, great music, easy but fun gameplay, and a great sense of humor. How could this not be near the top of the list?)

NOTE: Though all of these games rank up on my favorites list, this is definitely not my list of favorite games. I would never recommend my favorite game (Dragon Age: Origins) to anyone unless I KNEW they'd be patient with it.

5.PvZ.PvZ.PvZ.

1) Timesplitters(all of them. Yes I'm cheating, buy screw you, Timesplitters is amazing). Because Timesplitters is the best game series ever made ever.

This as you will never need to play another game for a long time.

If you need to play something else go play:

2) Cell damage
3) Metal gear series
4)Deus ex
5) Half-Life 1-2.2
6) Red Dead Redemption and any other Rockstar sandbox game

Mmm, that's true about Mario 3. The first was the earliest game I remember playing, so it stood out more than Mario 3, for me.

Oddly enough, I also had to choose between Bioshock and Mass Effect for the last spot. I ultimately gave it to Bioshock because of the impact of the story and the atmosphere. Now, if the list was "10 Video Games Everyone Should Play", then Mass Effect would be on there, for sure.

3. Resident Evil 4 - Revolutionized third person shooters.
