You want Boarderlands 2, then keep the money and save up, or wait for it to go on sale. Don't settle for something less than what you want.

WAIT FOR THE CHRISTMAS SALE.

[HEADING=1]DEAR GOD, WAIT FOR THE CHRISTMAS SALE.[/HEADING]

All of your dreams will come true and then some.
Because this isnt bolded enough!

Save the money for the Xmas sale and be joyous.
!!This needs more attention!!

Seriously, you can buy every game you've ever wanted during the sale. Put the money in a glass jar labeled 'In case of steam X-mas sale - break glass'.

Plus this way you could add to it between now and then.

Like others, I recommend Bastion. Absolutely phenomenal game. Or do what other people have said and save it for a bit.

I'll add another voice to 'Wait for Christmas!'
I probably spent about $60 in the last Christmas sale and still haven't got around to playing half the things, and it's only 2 months away.

Although if you must spend now, I'd say Bastion.
Slightly off track but still on topic (sort of), if anyone wants a free steam copy of Civ5 (no expansion) I've got one knocking around from the Xcom pre-order bonus, first PM can have it.

Edit - Civ5 now has a good home with Beat14

I'd have to give a massive warning of DO NOT GET MIRRORS EDGE IF YOU HAVE AN AMD GRAPHICS CARD.
I should add to this. Simply put, Do not get Mirror's Edge at all, regardless of your graphics card. It is the only game in memory that I returned to the store for being awful.

The Void. Damnably difficult but interesting first person action/adventure with a dash of strategy.

I'd say don't bother with Silent Hill: Homecoming as it's just not that good, it has its moments but the whole thing left me feeling a bit hollow and underwhelmed.

Instead of shouting wait for the xmas sale, I'm going to go ahead and say Dark Souls(if you have a pad) or Deus Ex.

Mentioned Dark souls first because I think it's a game you will be able to spend loads of time on. Nice to reply for all sorts or reasons.

Deus Ex second as it compromises on price, but should provide a fair amount of hours for the first play through. Not sure it's something you go to play through again straight after completing once.

Having said that, I think waiting for a sale would be good, but I don't think I would be able to with the money at hand so why not make a small purchase or two and save the rest :)

FIFTEEN BUCKS FOR ROME TOTAL WAR

Sorry for all caps, just really really keen on recommending that. The best total war game ever released, with an absolutely amazing modding community (my personal favourite is Roma Surrectum, it's very well done) and hundreds of hours worth of micromanagement, roleplaying and alternate history. For fifteen dollars there aren't a lot of games that offer that much scope and longevity. Even if you're not a fan of RTS's or ancient history it is definitely worth a go.

Also, at Christmas you can pick it up for a pair of buttons and a breadcrumb, so there's nothing to lose... except your social life.

Sanctum is on sale right now. It's one of my favorite indie games of all time. It gets even more amazing with friends.

Give it to me.
Or like, get Bastion. That's pretty rockin'.
Yes what he said. Bastion has to be the best game I have played in a long time. Its short(8 hrs first play through. But the story line is spectacular, the end of the game moved me to tears.
What these two said. I can't speak for many games on your wishlist, but Bastion is one I can personally recommend. It's like playing your way through a fantasy painting.

If nothing else, you should at least have a go at the soundtrack. That alone is a stunning experience.

The music above if just the normal music that plays. During the game its this music + narration from Logan Cunningham (which I might add is just as good as Morgan Freeman). This song was the one that moved me to tears, because of its perfect placement within the game.
The game meshes all of its components great audio, story, graphics, and gameplay into perfection. Without one of these pillars the game wouldn't be as impactful or moving.

You owe it to yourself to play.

I would hold on a little. There will probably be a mini-sale on steam round halloween. Right now if I had that to spend I would get the bundle I talked about in this thread, but its out right now.

On the upside since its out amazon is giving away a $2 coupon which you can use to net yourself some DLC to play through while waiting. That I described in this thread.
