I am not sure if you heard or know, but Control is getting a complete edition on next gen consoles. The problem being is that it's barely been a year, and that they want you to buy a game again while claiming it's a "free" next gen upgrade. I am shocked 505 is doing this. I know this nothing new to the industry, but at least there is usually some neat bonuses and the game is at a cheaper price. IE: DMC4 Special Edition added extra characters and LDK mode (which was PC only at the time) & DmC: Definitive Edition re-balanced the game play and added all the DLC costumes & skins unlocked from the start with a new difficulty mode. Which goes to show pointless buying most AAA games are nowadays. Why bother the shell/vanilla version when they're going to make another and charge you full price (Hello, Last of Us Remastered & God of War III). All that means is there is going to be a "GOTY" (I remember when GOTY editions meant something back in the 90s & early 2000s), "Complete", "Definitive", or "Remastered". I did not buy any of their games, but I thought 505 were one of the more decent publishers/developers. Turns out I was wrong.
