I'm going to buy pokemon 2 and I wanted to give myself more of a challenge.

So I'm looking for the 6 worse species of pokemon to use for my team.

Rules
- They can't be the exact same type as any other, so only one Normal, but a Normal/Flying would be different
- I mentioned species because I'll start off with the lowest evolved form and then go from there. Example, zubat, golbat, and crobat are 1 species.

So which are the worse 6 that I could use?

Well, just looked it up and it seems like the worst pokemon in terms of stats is Sunkern...

Can't imagine why.

I've heard Zubats are actually pretty good, though.

Might go with Ekans and Swinub over those last two. I don't know if Swinub is actually bad or not (they're incredibly adorable, so I'd use them anyway), but they have five type weaknesses (all three starter types, plus fighting and steel).

The thing is, is that I will be evolving them. Gyarados is actually one of my main ones I use now so magikarp is out.

Zubat I thought for sure was in. Slackoth is an interesting idea, and ekans I'll probably add in because it has fan pages.

Sunkern sucks so that's in.

These are great! But I need more!

I think a team of Sunflora, Luvdisc, Minun/Plusle, Delibird and Masquerain would do pretty horribly. Can't think of a 6th.

Looking back through this thread, have people actually used some of these Pokemon? Chandelure, Vanniluxe, Azumarill and Crobat are all pretty damn good (assuming Azumarill has Huge Power, otherwise it's pretty terrible, but Luvdisc would still be worse).

Appearing wise or stats wise?

For stats I suggest these lots-

Cryogonal (Got the lowewest defence out of the Black and White Pokemon)
Serperior (Awful movesets)
Gigalith (Slow as hell)
Dunsparce since you cand get it as a rare encounter early in the game (lame moves and stats)
Flareon (for a fire Pokemon, its stats is awful.)

Err that all I got since the few others are the same types I already mention above.

The Ice Cream one (what were they thinking!?)
The Candle one (What were they thinking)
Combee (What the f**k is it? It's a bee in the shape of a honeycone?)
Sunkern (A sunflower...what were they thinking!?)
Trubish (Garbage...what were they thinking!?)
Mr Mime (This is sort of personal, but I hate this guy)
The candle one is cute! Beside once fully evolved it got the highest Special Attack of all the Black and White Pokemon. Heck, Chandelure (what the third form is called) was the only useful one out of my team who didn't faith alot!

Unown- it can only learn one move, Hidden Power, which will be a random type and power.

Male Combee - Only female Combee can evolve so it'll never get very strong, plus it only learns 4 moves

Shedinja - Only has 1 HP, but is immune to Super Effective hits. While I think it's a cool Pokemon, he's practically useless in battle. You'd have to "evolve" a Nincada to get him though

Ditto - He's not really terrible, but using one is definitely a challenge since you're fighting with a different Pokemon each time. Plus you give your opponent a free move while you Transform.

Ever since it was moves and not type that determine if attack or special attack is used, it's really hard to point out really terrible Pokemon that aren't just normal types. Gyarados used to be a waste of Pokemon back when it had the high attack growth but all water moves used Special Attack. Still, I can find the evolved Pokemon with the worst stat growths as well as being a horrible type in the first place:

---

Normal: #132 Ditto
Bad at speed and every other stat, including health. Sure, its transform will copy the stats over, but half its health will be gone as it'll probably be going second, and then it'll just be the same as the opponent but with less pp for each move.

Bug and Ghost: #292 Shedinja
He's got Wonderguard and that's about it. He will always always have 1 hp (I'm pretty sure) so weather effects can take them out in one turn. Also he can still be damaged by the following types... fire, flying, rock, ghost and dark.

Bug: #313 Volbeat
Volbeat and Illumise are nearly the same, but Volbeat focuses on the Attack stat while featuring a mostly Special Attack moveset. Sure, you can use TMs for more Attack moves, but the attack stat is actually less than Shedinja's.

Psychic: #201 Unknown
All they've got as a move is Hidden Power. Their speed sucks, their hp sucks, their defenses suck. They've only got less-than decent fighting power. But again, all they have is hidden move. Good luck finding one though.

Normal and Flying: #83 Farfetch'd
Stats just marginally better than even Ditto but with the added benefit of having three weaknesses instead of just one. It's higher-level moves include Feint and False Swipe... what a joke.

Ghost and Dark: #302 Sableye
Being the only Pokemon I can think of without weaknesses (if you don't count a fighting pokemon using an ident move). But that's it, the stats are meh across the board. And unlike Wobbuffet, it doesn't have any moves to take advantage of the no weaknesses thing.

---

These are my picks for the worst of the worst. Smeargle was a close second to Ditto, but they're both straight normal, so I had to drop one. I can bet though, that with this team, you'd have a hard time beating the league even at level 75+. If you have to find an alternate for Unknown, go with Medicham.

Edit: I made this list with the assumption that you will be evolving your Pokemon. If you aren't, then I can give a whole host of other Pokemon that suck way worse.

Do you realise Slaking is the best non-legendary pokemon in the pokemon universe. It has stats that rival Groudon and Kyogre. Sure it hits every second time, but if you use it right, I.E. Giga Impact that shit, you'll wreak your opponents. As for me, I'd say the worst pokemon team is

Rattata - Raticate
Tailow - Swellow
Eggecute - Eggecutor
Shelmet - Accelegor
Wooper - Quagsire
Pachirisu

You'll despise me by the end of the game. Also some may say Eggecutor has pretty good stats, but it is super effected by 7 things, you'll rarely come up against someone who can't beat the bastard. However saying that, any pokemon can be used right it just depends on how you use them. God speed.

If you want a challenge absolutely no on Slackoth. Like I said earlier in the Forum, Slakoth and Vigoroth are pretty basic uninteresting pieces of fluff, but Slaking is a MONSTER. Seriously 160 base attack and 100 base defence, for comparison most Legendary have this. Yes it has appalling special defence but this thing is a pretty speedy bugger too, base 100. I'd take it out of the rotation if I were you.

The prevolutions of Elecktross each have an ability that decreases accuracy.

This makes them almost insufferable to train up without an EXP Share.

Unless you use a mon that has the Mold Breaker ability, which cancels that negation.
