Actually, I'm drawn to a few numbers. 223, 303, 308, 357 - all of these have some connection to firearms; 427, 428 - these both have connections to cars; 128, 256, 286, 386, 486 - all of these have some connections to computers.

I got ?6.66 change yesterday, and it just made me think of "Sympathy for the Devil".
Basically this, with the addition of my lucky number, 86. I once had five consecutive lap times on different tracks on Project Gotham 2 and all of my times were something.86. I've also won two raffles with a number 86 ticket.
I'm also kind of superstitious about the picture of the month on my annual car calender (actually cats this year). If it's a picture of a car/cat I think is awesome or cute or has a certain expression on its face then something good will happen during that month.
The outcomes have come frighteningly true on more than a few occasions.

I'm one of those who is akin to believe the scholars who have postulated that 666 stood for Nero. They worked out that the numerical value using gematria for Nero's name 666. Gematria was used quite extensively in the time that the bible was written as a way to encode things critical to the Roman government to avoid the common fate of dissidents of the period, that being execution.

We have to remember that the bible itself was written in the 1st and 2nd centuries CE and that the threat of Roman justice was very real, especially for a dissident cult such as the Christians. It makes sense in that context that they would use code to mask their true meaning to avoid unwanted Roman attention.

"I refuse to be brought down by you
Praise is far away from what you do
Not only are you cranking up my brain
I'm meant to blow you away...666"

Cookie for whoever can guess or say what song those lyrics come from, and which band?:D

I was born on Friday the 13th at 6PM, weighing 6 pound 6, (666 ) so I'm basically just a walking susperstition :p

I do things like avoiding ladders or tapping walls sub conciously, almost OCD, heh.

But I wouldn't really say I am.
A... Are you the anti-Christ? Your name's not Damien is it?

I'm not personally superstitious a great deal. I do, however, for reasons unknown, toss salt over my shoulder whenever I spill it. Also I dislike killing things, including insects, and try to avoid it whenever possible.
Haha, unfortunately not. That would be quite cool though.

First, We postulate that if souls exist, then they must have some mass.
Fail. Quantum Physics shuts that idea down due to the Higgs boson. Sorry Shadowtek :)
yeah but the higgs boson is still hypothetical :p
doesn't have to have mass, but for it to affect the physical world that we inhabit it would have to be measurable in some way.

The black cat always amused me, in the complete span of human history i doubt there is one street i any town or one field in any county that a black cat hasn't crossed.

I'm not overly superstitious but I know that Halloween is when magic is at its strongest (So I've been told). I once saw that a fight I was taking to Salt Lake City was Flight 815, kinda spooky but nonetheless, still normal.
