Seconded. As an Englander, this simply isn't true.

And as Branoviches said, we complain about everything anyway. Most of us would like the queues shortened, but our NHS does some of the finest work on the shittiest pay/timetabling in the world.
I'm going to put a quick plug in here; there's a good series on youtube exposing some of fox's falsehoods around the whole issue by dprjones. Link below.

That has to be a complete load of bollocks. The NHS is brilliant, and considering that suggesting dismantling the NHS is political suicide, I'd have to say that indicates that everyone's pretty happy with it. It could be better, of course, but to get rid of it would be stupid beyond belief.

Fun fact: The NHS is the third largest employer in the world, after the Chinese Army and Indian railways.

WTF? Complete BS, I love my healthcare and due to be extremely poor I would be screwed if we were forced to go private (my mother a cleaner...Really doubt It'd be able to get healthcare on that) so I presume it's just Fox BSing Obama's healthcare plan.

The American fear of free health care is based on bullshit.
HEY! Please do not put all Americans in the same group. Lots of us voted for Obama because of the promise of Universal Health Care. Now it is coming true!

We also hate Fox News as they spread FUD and lies all the time to make for fear mongering. Fuck Fox News with a brick.
Well, good. That being said there has been a hell lot of American people on news and so on that appose free health care for bullshit reasons. Comments like "With free health care we won't be able to decide what treatment we're getting" just make me want to pull my hair out in clumps.

I have yet to see a legitimate reason why Free Health Care is a bad idea...well, appart from this probably not being the best time to throw a load of money at anything much.

EDIT: This reminds me of a comment I heard on Mock the Week. One of the arguments put forward against the free health care is that if Stephen Harkens was British and had been under NHS treatment he wouldn't have survived, which would be a very good argument...if it wasn't for the fact Stephen Harkens is British and owes his life to the NHS.

It's Fox. They aren't very reliable when it comes to stuff like this, believe me!

Also, the people who do complain about their health care in their countries would probably want to have it back if they knew what the American system was like.
